So which word should you use?
Much or Many? Some nouns are countable, like sugar cubes. And there are 68 cubes of sugar in the picture above, which spell the word many. But could you count the amount of sugar in the photo below? Personally I would not want the job of counting every single sugar crystal, so I would say the quantity of sugar is uncountable. For uncountable nouns like flour, sand, or time, you need the word much. That’s why in English you would say, too many sugar cubes and too much sugar.
